Report Illegal Content

What this is for

This is Zinkly's Notice & Action mechanism under the EU Digital Services Act (DSA). Use this — instead of a general "Report post" — when you believe content is illegal, not just against our Community Guidelines. Anyone can submit a notice, including people without a Zinkly account.

How to submit a notice

Use the "Report → Illegal content" option on any post, comment, message, profile, or via zinklystudio@gmail.com if you cannot access the content directly (e.g. it's already been taken down elsewhere but you have a record of it). To help us act on your notice, please include:

  • The exact location of the content (link, or a precise description of where/what it is);
  • An explanation of why you believe the content is illegal, including which law you believe it violates and, where relevant, which country's law;
  • Your name and contact details (required for us to respond to you and for accountability under the DSA, except where an EU member state allows anonymous reporting of certain content such as CSAM);
  • A statement of your good-faith belief that the information and claim are accurate.

What happens next

  1. We acknowledge receipt of your notice.
  2. A moderator reviews the content against applicable law and our policies, in a diligent, objective, and non-arbitrary manner.
  3. We decide whether to remove, restrict, or leave the content, and act accordingly.
  4. We notify both you (the reporter) and the content's poster of the decision and the reason, consistent with our Content Moderation Policy.
  5. The affected user can appeal — see our Appeals Policy. If you (the reporter) believe we got it wrong, you can also contact us to request re-review.

Trusted flaggers

Where applicable under the DSA, notices from entities awarded "trusted flagger" status by the relevant Digital Services Coordinator are processed with priority.

Misuse

Submitting knowingly false illegal-content notices is itself a violation of our Terms of Service and may result in restrictions on your ability to submit further reports.

Emergencies

If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first (in Greece: 112) — do not rely solely on an in-app report for time-critical safety issues.
