Community Guidelines

These Guidelines explain what is and isn't allowed on Zinkly, in plain language. They apply to everything you post or send: posts, comments, messages, stories, reels, profile content, and usernames. Violating these Guidelines can result in content being restricted, removed, or your account being warned, suspended, or terminated — see our Content Moderation Policy for how enforcement works, and our Appeals Policy if you disagree with a decision.

Enforcement scale

Not every violation is treated the same way. Depending on severity and history, we may: leave content up with a warning label ("Restricted"), reduce its distribution, remove it, or suspend/terminate the account — ranging from Allowed → Restricted → Removed → Account action, not a single "we can delete anything we don't like" standard.

Prohibited categories

1. Illegal content — anything unlawful under applicable law, including Greek and EU law. Report via our Report Illegal Content tool.
2. Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) — zero tolerance. Any such content is removed immediately, the account is terminated, and we report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or Greek/EU authorities as legally required.
3. Terrorism / violent extremism — content that promotes, glorifies, or supports terrorist or violent extremist organisations or acts.
4. Threats — credible threats of violence against a person or group.
5. Violence — graphic violence, gore, or content that glorifies serious harm.
6. Hate speech / discrimination — attacks on people based on protected characteristics (race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or similar).
7. Harassment / bullying — targeted abuse, pile-ons, or repeated unwanted contact.
8. Sexual content — non-consensual sexual content and content sexualising real people without consent is prohibited; explicit adult content is restricted per our content settings and is never allowed if it involves or appears to involve a minor.
9. Non-consensual intimate imagery — sharing or threatening to share intimate images without the subject's consent is prohibited and reported to authorities where required.
10. Self-harm encouragement — content that promotes or provides instructions for suicide or self-harm; content seeking support is allowed and may be shown with safety resources.
11. Fraud / scams — phishing, financial scams, fake giveaways, deceptive schemes.
12. Spam — repetitive, unsolicited, or automated/bot-driven content.
13. Impersonation — pretending to be another person, brand, or organisation in a misleading way.
14. Copyright infringement — posting others' copyrighted work without rights; see our Copyright / DMCA Policy.
15. Privacy violations / doxxing — sharing someone's private information (address, phone number, ID documents) without consent.
16. Malware / malicious activity — links or files intended to compromise devices or accounts.
17. Illegal goods or services — content advertising or facilitating the sale of illegal drugs, weapons, or other illegal goods/services.
18. Platform manipulation — fake accounts, engagement manipulation, coordinated inauthentic behaviour, vote/report brigading.
19. AI-generated deceptive content — synthetic or manipulated media presented as authentic in a misleading way (e.g. deepfakes of real people without disclosure).
20. Other prohibited content — anything else that violates our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, assessed case by case with an explanation provided.

Reporting

Use the Report button on any post, comment, message, or profile. For content you believe is illegal (not just against our Guidelines), use our dedicated Report Illegal Content flow, which collects the extra detail needed to act on legal notices.
